Pronounced Ace-is, it is a theme that I am working on and looking at created in terms of a new WordPress framework that deals with user functionality and allows for one installation on a network wide site while containing child themes that build off that one theme.
The last couple of posts, one dealing what I thought a theme framework should have and what my plans were from one detailed rough sketches of what a theme frame work should be about. One of my biggest things was responsive design.
There are tons of articles out there on the subject and when it comes to responsive design my idea of the subject is that the content should scale properly to suite the screen resolution of the said device and if it fails to do that then you have a lot of pinching and zooming to do and that can get rather frustrating for the user in the end.
What I decided to do was to use and example of responsive design and then change it up to better suit what I wanted to do with it in terms of the design and the layout.
I have release Aisis as a beta site for you all to test in which you can use your different versions of browsers and different resolutions to test the site.
Currently for browsers we support:
Firefox 9+, Safari 5+, IE 7+ and the latest Chrome
For resolutions we support:
Max-Width: 980, 768, 650 and 480px
Please test the site and give me your feedback on the scalability and look. Performance is also important. Does the site load fast? Is it slow?
The next step is to add a few more features and then work on the semantic HTML.
